How to Enable, Disable, Edit, or Delete an Exclude Policy in Saner PM Tool

Overview
This article explains how to manage existing patch exclusion policies in Saner PM Tool, including enabling, disabling, editing, or deleting them.


Prerequisites

Before beginning, ensure the following:

  • You have access to Saner PM Tool with administrative privileges.

  • Exclusion policies already exist in the account.


Steps to Manage Exclude Policies

Step 1: Access Exclude Policies

  • On the PM Dashboard, click gear icon at the top-right corner.


Step 2: Manage Exclude Policies

  • On the Exclusions screen, view all existing exclusion policies.

  • In the Action column, the following options are available:

    • Enable/Disable – Toggle the status of the policy to activate or deactivate it.

    • Edit – Modify the details of the existing policy.

    • Delete – Remove the policy permanently from the account.


Note:
Managing exclusion policies allows administrators to control which patches are applied to devices and maintain compliance with organizational requirements.
