FAQ: How do I exclude a vulnerability from the SanerCVEM VM module?
Answers:
You can exclude specific vulnerabilities (CVEs) and associated assets from the SanerCVEM VM module by creating an Exclusion Policy. This allows you to prevent selected vulnerabilities and assets from being flagged, included in reports, or considered for remediation.
You can create an exclusion policy for specific CVEs, vulnerable assets, or a combination of both, depending on your organization’s requirements.
Follow the steps below to create an Exclusion Policy:
Log in to the SanerCVEM platform.
Navigate to the Vulnerability Management module.
Go to the Vulnerabilities dashboard and select the CVE(s) you wish to exclude.
Navigate to the Top Vulnerable Assets section and select the assets you want to exclude.
In the Policy Creation window, provide the necessary details to define your exclusion criteria.
Now Click on Exclude Selected Item button to apply the exclusions.
