In saner CVEM Risk Prioritization, the Risk on Mission Prevalence pane provides a categorized view of risks associated with different types of devices. This helps you quickly identify and focus on risks that impact your most critical assets.


Device Categories Displayed

The pane organizes devices into three categories:

  • Essential Devices – Devices critical to business operations.

  • Support Devices – Devices that assist but are not core to business continuity.

  • Minimal Devices – Devices with minimal impact on business functions.

Visual Representation

  • The pane highlights risks related to Essential Devices, including:

    • Business-Centric Devices

    • Data-Centric Devices

    • Internet-Facing Devices

  • Numbers shown above each icon → Count of risks associated with that device category.

  • Numbers shown below each icon → Count of devices within that category.

This layout enables at-a-glance risk assessment for high-priority devices.

Taking Action on Risks

To address the risks displayed:

  1. Click on the respective icon (Business-Centric, Data-Centric, or Internet-Facing Devices).

  2. You will be redirected to the Prioritized Risks pane.

  3. From there, review and remediate the risks.
