Risk Prioritization: Automatable Risks Overview and Remediation

Overview

The Automatable category, available under the Risk Prioritization module, helps you identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations that can or cannot be reliably remediated through automation. This pane provides visibility into the distribution of risks based on their automation reliability and allows you to remediate them efficiently.

  • No: Risks that cannot be reliably automated.

  • Yes: Risks that can be reliably automated.

Accessing the Automatable Analysis Pane

  1. Navigate to the Risk Prioritization module.

  2. Click the Automatable pane button to expand and view detailed insights.

    • Alternatively, click the figure displayed on the Automatable pane to navigate to the Automatable Analysis pane.

  3. The Automatable Analysis pane displays a detailed list of risks under the Automatable category.

    • A maximum of 500 risks can be displayed at a time.

Features of the Automatable Analysis Pane

1. Display Options

  • Use the drop-down box (top-right corner) to specify the number of records displayed.

  • Toggle between:

    • Vulnerabilities

    • Misconfigurations

2. Risk Category Filters

  • Use the category checkboxes (top-right corner) to filter risks by category:

    • Act

    • Attend

    • Track*

    • Track

3. Search and Download

  • Search risks using:

    • CVE ID

    • Asset Name

  • Use the search box next to the icon.

  • Click the download icon to export CVEs under the Automatable category.

Remediation

To remediate risks under the Automatable Analysis pane, follow the same steps outlined in the Prioritized Risks pane of the Risk Prioritization module.
