Reviewing CPU Threshold Configuration for a Device in Saner CVEM Console

Purpose

This article provides step-by-step instructions to review the CPU Threshold (%) set for a specific device within the Saner CVEM console.


Procedure

Follow the steps below to view the CPU threshold configuration:

  1. Navigate to All Devices Page

    • Log in to the Saner CVEM console.

    • Go to the “All Devices” section from the left-hand navigation pane.

  2. Identify the Device Configuration

    • In the “Configuration” column of the device table, note the configuration name applied to the device.

  3. Access Agent Configuration Settings

    • Click on the Control Panel icon located in the top-right corner of the console.

  4. Open Agent Configuration under Scanners

    • In the Control Panel, navigate to “Agent Configuration” under the Scanners section.

    • Select the respective account associated with the device.

  5. Locate the Configuration Profile

    • Click on the relevant configuration (e.g., Debug Mode) from the list of available configurations.

  6. Review CPU Threshold Settings

    • Scroll to the “Scan” section within the selected configuration.
       

    • You will find the CPU Threshold (%) value that has been set for the devices associated with this configuration.


Additional Notes

  • The CPU threshold setting controls the percentage of CPU utilization allowed during a scan to prevent system performance degradation.

  • Changes to the configuration may impact multiple devices linked to the profile.
