Purpose
This article provides step-by-step instructions to review the CPU Threshold (%) set for a specific device within the Saner CVEM console.
Procedure
Follow the steps below to view the CPU threshold configuration:
Navigate to All Devices Page
Log in to the Saner CVEM console.
Go to the “All Devices” section from the left-hand navigation pane.
Identify the Device Configuration
In the “Configuration” column of the device table, note the configuration name applied to the device.
Access Agent Configuration Settings
Click on the Control Panel icon located in the top-right corner of the console.
Open Agent Configuration under Scanners
In the Control Panel, navigate to “Agent Configuration” under the Scanners section.
Select the respective account associated with the device.
Locate the Configuration Profile
Click on the relevant configuration (e.g., Debug Mode) from the list of available configurations.
Review CPU Threshold Settings
Scroll to the “Scan” section within the selected configuration.
You will find the CPU Threshold (%) value that has been set for the devices associated with this configuration.
Additional Notes
The CPU threshold setting controls the percentage of CPU utilization allowed during a scan to prevent system performance degradation.
Changes to the configuration may impact multiple devices linked to the profile.
