Answers:
In the Saner CVEM, you can manage and take various actions on existing tasks directly from the Status page of both PM and CM module. This helps in efficiently tracking and controlling ongoing or scheduled patch and application deployment activities.
Available Actions:
Search Tasks – Locate specific tasks using keywords.
Filter Tasks by Type – Narrow down tasks based on their type (e.g., All, Job, Rule, Rollback, Reboot, Test & Deploy).
Pause Application Task – Temporarily halt a running application task.
Resume Application Task – Continue a previously paused application task.
Approve Job – Approve tasks that are pending confirmation.
Reject Job – Reject tasks that are not approved for execution.
Stop Application Task – Terminate a currently running application task.
Delete Task – Remove completed or unwanted tasks from the list.
How to Perform These Actions:
Log in to the Saner CVEM console.
Navigate to Patch Management or Compliance Management> Status.
On the left side, you will see a panel with various action icons.
Select the appropriate icon and choose the task(s) you wish to manage.
Apply the desired action from the options listed.
