Overview
This article describes the recommended process to regain administrative access to the Saner CVEM console when Super Admin credentials are not available.
Administrative access may be impacted in certain situations, such as changes in personnel or role ownership. When Super Admin credentials are unavailable, users with administrative responsibilities may be unable to fully manage the console. This document outlines how access can be restored while maintaining platform security and compliance.
Key Information
Super Admin is the highest-privileged role in the Saner platform.
User IDs must be unique across the Saner platform.
For security reasons, administrative roles and permissions follow a defined hierarchy.
Support teams follow strict authorization and verification procedures.
Role and Access Considerations
Administrative access is managed through Organization Admin (Org Admin) and Super Admin roles.
Platform security controls prevent unrestricted reassignment of high-privilege roles.
Support assistance is available to guide users through approved recovery steps.
Recommended Access Recovery Process
Option 1: Super Admin Account Information Is Available
If the Super Admin account information is known but access is unavailable:
Contact SecPod Saner Support and provide the reason why Super Admin access is unavailable, along with the required justification.
Request a password reset for the Super Admin account.
Once the password reset is completed, log in to the Saner CVEM console using the updated Super Admin credentials.
Navigate to User Management.
Review the existing Account Admin or Org Admin users and ensure that the appropriate user is assigned full administrative access to manage the Saner CVEM console going forward.
Inform the Support team to transfer the Super Admin role from the existing Super Admin account to the selected Account Admin or Org Admin user.
Note: Ensure the email address or user ID is unique across the Saner platform.
Option 2: Super Admin Account Information Is Not Available
If the Super Admin account details are not known:
Contact SecPod Saner Support.
Support will guide you through the account validation and authorization process.
Once verification is completed, Support will advise on the appropriate next steps in accordance with security policies.
Best Practices
Review administrative access periodically.
Update role assignments during team or organizational changes.
Follow secure credential management practices.
Conclusion
Administrative access to the Saner CVEM console is governed by security and role-based controls. When Super Admin credentials are unavailable, access recovery should be performed either through an existing Org Admin or Account admin account or via SecPod Support-guided verification. This approach ensures continued platform security while enabling uninterrupted console management.
