Modified on Mon, 29 Sep at 7:01 PM

Overview

System uptime information helps in monitoring device stability and availability. In Saner CVEM, you can efficiently retrieve system uptime details using the Posture Anomaly module.

Steps to Retrieve System Uptime

  1. Navigate to the Posture Anomaly module in the Saner CVEM console.

  2. Go to Custom Rules → click on Detection.

  3. Run a query to retrieve the system uptime details.

    • The query will return the elapsed time since the system was started, expressed in milliseconds.

Example

  • System Uptime → Indicates the number of milliseconds that have passed since the system was last started.

Notes

  • System uptime values can be used to detect anomalies such as unusually long or short uptimes.

  • This data can also support investigations into device reboots or unexpected shutdowns.
