Tags in Saner CVEM allow you to efficiently organize and manage devices across your organization.
Key Information:
Maximum Number of Tags:
Users can create up to 200 tags in Saner CVEM. This limit ensures that the system maintains optimal performance, even in large-scale environments, while still providing enough flexibility to categorize and manage devices effectively.Multiple Tags per Device:
Each device can be associated with multiple tags, allowing for cross-classification. For example, a single device could have both a Department tag (such as Finance) and a Location tag (such as New York). This enables you to perform targeted scans, apply specific policies, or generate reports based on multiple criteria, making device management more efficient and organized.Managing Tags:
Administrators have full control over tag management. Tags can be renamed or deleted at any time. When a tag is deleted, it is automatically disassociated from all devices that were linked to it, ensuring that your device classifications remain accurate and up-to-date.
By using tags effectively, you can simplify asset management, improve reporting accuracy, and enforce policies more precisely across your organization.
