Question:
How can I view the missing patches based on a specified range of release dates in Saner CVEM?

Answer:
In Saner CVEM, you can easily filter and view missing patches by specifying a release date range. This allows you to focus on patches released within a particular timeframe, helping in more targeted patch management.
Please follow the detailed steps below:

Steps to View Missing Patches by Specified Date Range:

  1. Log in to your Saner CVEM console using your administrator credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Patch Management module from the main dashboard.

  3. Click on the Missing Patches section.

    • Wait for all missing patches to load completely.

  4. Apply Filters:

    • Click on the + More Filters option available on the screen.

    • Locate the fields for Release Start Date and Release End Date.

    • Select your desired start and end dates to filter patches released within that specific range.

  5. Once the date range is selected, the system will display only the missing patches that match your selected release dates.

Additional Tip:
You can further refine your search results by using the Family filter.

  • This allows you to limit the results to specific operating system platforms such as Windows, Unix, or Mac, depending on your organization's requirements.
