Overview
The Cyber Hygiene Score (CHS) provides a clear measure of your organisation's security posture. Ideally, it is always recommended to remediate vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, anomalies, and other risks to improve your CHS score. However, based on organisational preferences and priorities, you also have the option to adjust the CHS score through configuration settings.
This document explains how to view, adjust, and recompute your CHS score.
How to Access the CHS Dashboard
Log in to the console.
Click on Account from the left-hand side menu.
On the right side of the dashboard, locate the Cyber Hygiene Score section.
Click on it; this will take you directly to the CHS Dashboard.
Understanding Contributors to the CHS Score
Within the CHS Dashboard, you will see the Contributors section.
This section highlights the key factors contributing to the current CHS score.
Factors may include vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, anomalies, outdated software, and others.
How to Adjust CHS Score Based on Preference
On the CHS Dashboard, click on Configure Weightage.
Adjust the weightage based on your organisation's preference.
You can give more or less importance to specific contributors.
For example, if vulnerabilities are of higher concern, you can increase their weightage.
Recomputing the CHS Score
After adjusting the weightage, the CHS score will be automatically recomputed.
Example: After adjustment, the score may change (e.g., updated from 45 to 49).
The Last Scan Time for recomputation will also be updated accordingly.
Typically, the recomputation is completed within a second, but it might take a few additional seconds depending on the system load.
