How to create and modify\update custom device groups

Overview:

This document provides guidance to Create and Modify\Update the custom device group.

Note: Default device groups cannot be modified\updated.


Applicable Platform: 

On-Cloud Deployment and On-premises Deployment


Steps to Create and Modify\Update the custom device group: (Refer to the attached screenshot for guidance)

Creating a Custom Group:

  1. Go to the "All Devices" section in the left-hand group panel.
  2. Click on the "Create Group" option to facilitate the creation of a new custom group.

Modifying an Existing Custom Group:

  1. Select the respective group from the left-hand panel.
  2. Click on the "Modify Group" option (same button as "Create Group") to make the necessary modifications.
