This article shows few settings and configurations in the agent which might be useful for getting required details and also for troubleshooting.
- Proxy settings- You can use the below to make the changes in the agent configuration settings.
Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\SecPod Saner\conf\settings.ini
File name: setttings.ini
ProxyAuthEnabled=false
ProxyEnabled=false
ProxyPassword=
ProxyPort=
ProxyURL=
- To find details regarding the last scan time, account ID, MAC address, reboot required and also if any secondary server is configured and also other details can also be found in the file status.ini
File location : C:\Program Files (x86)\SecPod Saner\conf\status.ini
File name: status.ini
To get the details for the last patch which was successful can also be found in the below file
File name: successkbpatchstatus.ini
To get the list of the patches available in missing security and missing non-security patches, the below file can be verified
File name: patchlist.ini
Similarly, the automation rule can also be identified from the below folder/file
RemediationRule>>remediationrule.ini
It contains the remediation rule status and the job name and the current status whether the job is ongoing and other details
Under this folder, there are 2 .ini files which provide details regarding the status and also the patch/asset selected details
