Use Case 1: Deleting a File from a Remote Device
Scenario
The administrator needs to delete the file: Installed Security Patches Yearly Report.CSV from a specific path on a remote device.
Solution
Log in to Saner CVEM Portal
Use your admin credentials to access the portal.
Navigate to Endpoint Management Module
Go to: Endpoint Management (EM) > Action > File
Create the File Deletion Task
Enter the complete file path, including the extension.
Select the target device(s).
Configure the execution frequency (one-time or recurring).
Click Create Response to initiate the deletion task.
Verify Task Execution
Once the device receives the task via the Saner CVEM Agent, the status will update to Successful.
File Removal Confirmation: The specified file will no longer be present on the endpoint.:

Go to: Endpoint Management (EM) > Action > File
Create the Quarantine Task
Select the Quarantine option.
Enter the complete file path.
Select the target device(s).
Click Create Response to execute the quarantine task.
Verify the Quarantine Action
Once executed, the file will be isolated and cannot be opened.
Task status will update to indicate successful execution.
