How to Disable MFA for Users from Admin Login

Overview

This guide explains how to disable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for users from the admin login in Saner CVEM. Administrators can manage MFA settings based on their role and permissions.



Notes

  • Super Admin: Can disable MFA for users across all organizations and accounts.

  • Org Admin: Can disable MFA for users under all accounts within their respective organization.

  • Account Admin: Can disable MFA for users under their respective account only.

Important: To disable Super Admin MFA, please contact the SecPod Support Team at support@secpod.com using the respective admin email ID or account owner email ID.

Steps to Disable MFA for a User

  1. Login to Saner CVEM

    • Use any browser to log in with your admin or respective organization user credentials.

  2. Access Control Panel

    • Click on the Control Panel icon in the top-right corner of the console.

  3. Navigate to Users

    • From the left-hand side menu, select Organization.

    • Click on Users to view the list of users under your organization/account.

  4. Select the User

    • Identify the user for whom you want to disable MFA.

    • Click on the Lock icon corresponding to that user.

  5. Disable MFA

    • Click on Withdraw to disable MFA for the selected user.


Note: Always verify that the correct user is selected before disabling MFA to avoid accidental removal of MFA access for critical accounts.
