Overview
SecPod periodically releases Saner Agent updates to address security vulnerabilities.
To address these vulnerabilities, customers must upgrade their Saner Agents to the applicable fixed version or later.
This article provides instructions for upgrading Saner Agents in SaaS and On-Premises deployments.
1. SaaS Deployments
Saner supports automatic agent upgrades for SaaS customers.
When automatic upgrades are enabled, Saner Agents are upgraded to latest version.
How to verify automatic agent upgrades
- Log in to your Saner web console.
- Navigate to Control Panel > Agent Configuration.
- Select the appropriate Account.
- Identify the agent configuration applied to the affected device groups.
- Open the configuration and select the Upgrade section.
- Verify that Agent Upgrade is set to Automatic.
Default Configuration
The default agent configuration is predefined and cannot be modified. Agents using this configuration are automatically upgraded.
Custom Configuration
If you have created a custom agent configuration and disabled automatic upgrades, follow these steps:
- Open the applicable custom agent configuration.
- Navigate to the Upgrade section.
- Change Agent Upgrade from Disabled to Automatic.
- Save the configuration.
Once automatic upgrades are enabled, the agents will get upgraded to the latest agent version.
2. On-Premises Customers
For On-Premises deployments, contact SecPod Support to coordinate the Saner agent upgrade.

Note:
- After upgrading the Saner Agent, initiate a scan or wait for the next scheduled scan. The vulnerability status will be updated once the scan is completed and the results are reflected in the Saner web console.
- The minimum agent version required to resolve a vulnerability is specified in the corresponding vulnerability Fix Information.
