Results:

Upon execution, a new entry will be added to the /etc/protocols file in the format:
newproto 123 np
This allows the system to recognize and use the protocol as defined.

Conclusion:

Using SanerCVEM’s response creation feature, administrators can easily manage system configuration files like /etc/protocols. This method ensures consistent deployment across multiple Unix/Linux endpoints and simplifies protocol registration for custom applications or legacy systems.
