Overview
Saner CVEM Continuous Posture Anomaly Management (CPAM) is a cloud-based solution that provides deep visibility into your IT infrastructure.
It helps IT security teams quickly identify devices that are:
Misconfigured
Uniquely configured
Significantly different from other devices in the environment
To achieve this, Saner CVEM CPAM continuously monitors thousands of device parameters to detect posture anomalies such as outliers, aberrations, and deviations across your IT landscape.
By identifying anomalies early, organizations can maintain consistent device posture, strengthen security, and ensure compliance. Once anomalies are detected, the platform provides multiple ways to remediate them effectively.
How to Fix Anomalies Detected in your saner CVEM account
Saner CVEM CPAM offers several options to fix anomalies using the Posture Anomaly (PA) tool. You can take corrective actions from:
PA Dashboard
Posture Anomaly Summary Page
All Anomalies Page
1. Fixing Anomalies from the PA Dashboard
Navigate to the Posture anomaly Dashboard.
Under the Fix column, click the wrench icon next to the anomaly (PA ID) you want to remediate.
The Detected Anomalies Action screen will appear, showing possible remediation actions.
Actions vary based on the type of anomaly and the operating system of the affected devices.
The number of available actions is displayed next to each operating system label.
Click the desired Possible Action button.
You will be redirected to the Response and Deploy page, where:
The Action Box shows details of the remediation action.
The Deploy section lists all devices where the action will be executed.
2. Fixing Anomalies from the Posture Anomaly Summary Page
On the PA Dashboard, click the PA ID under the ID column in the Posture Anomaly Details section.
This opens the PA Summary Page, which provides detailed information about the selected PA ID.
On the top-right corner, click the wrench button to start remediation for all anomalies under that PA ID.
You will be taken to the Detected Anomalies Action screen.
Select a Possible Action → Proceed to the Response and Deploy page.
Review action details in the Action Box and confirm devices listed under the Deploy section.
3. Fixing Anomalies from the All Anomalies Page
From the PA Dashboard, click All Anomalies.
On the All Anomalies Page, you will see two sections:
Anomalous Section (Red Tiles): Shows active anomalies and the number of affected devices. Hover over a tile to view PA ID details and a summary.
Normalized Section (Green Tiles): Shows anomalies that have already been remediated, along with device counts and PA ID details.
To remediate, click a Red Tile.
You will be redirected to the PA Summary Page.
Click the wrench button on the top-right corner.
Select a remediation option from the Detected Anomalies Action screen.
Continue to the Response and Deploy page to review and confirm the action.
Conclusion
Saner CVEM CPAM ensures that IT teams can quickly detect, analyze, and remediate posture anomalies across diverse environments. By offering multiple remediation paths—via the Dashboard, the Summary Page, or the All Anomalies Page—it provides flexibility without compromising on consistency.
With CPAM, organizations can maintain a secure, compliant, and uniformly configured infrastructure, reducing risks caused by misconfigurations or outlier device behaviors.
