No, the agent will not successfully upgrade if a version of the Saner CVEM agent is already installed. When pushed through GPO, the installer is triggered but the installation will fail silently if a version of agent is present.
However, Saner CVEM agents are designed to auto-upgrade to the latest version automatically, unless auto-upgrade is explicitly disabled in your organization or account settings,.
If you want to force an upgrade through GPO, you must first uninstall the existing version.
