Overview:
Devices are not appearing in console after installing Endpoint Security Tools (Antivirus).
Affected Type of Deployment:
In-House and On-Cloud
Solution:
SecPod requires Antivirus Exclusions and need to Add a folder exception for in Antivirus as it will block the exe files as the exe files are important for the application to function properly.
Please exclude the following list of files:
Windows:
Path: C:\program Files (x86)\Secpod Saner\

SpSaner-Windows-noui-6.0.exe

spdialogbox.exe

Linux:
Service location: /usr/bin/spsaner.service, /usr/bin/spscanmanager, /usr/bin/spagentwatchdog, /usr/bin/spsaner_servicelauncher, /usr/sbin/spsaneragent
Settings location folder : /etc/saner
Update path folder : /var/saner/
Libraries folder : /usr/lib64/saner
Logs Folder: /var/log/saner
Mac OSX:
Service location : /usr/local/bin/spsaneragent, /usr/local/bin/spscanmanager,, /usr/local/bin/spagentwatchdog, /usr/local/bin/spupgradecontroller, /usr/local/bin/spmessagebox, /usr/local/bin/spsaner_deactivate
Settings location folder : /etc/saner
Update path folder : /var/saner/
Libraries folder : /usr/local/lib/saner
Logs Folder: /var/log/saner
Now, we can be able to see the devices started reporting to SanerNow console.
