Overview:

Devices are not appearing in console after installing Endpoint Security Tools (Antivirus).

Affected Type of Deployment:

In-House and On-Cloud

Solution:

SecPod requires Antivirus Exclusions and need to Add a folder exception for in Antivirus as it will block the exe files as the exe files are important for the application to function properly.

Please exclude the following list of files:

Windows:

Path: C:\program Files (x86)\Secpod Saner\

SpSaner-minimal-x86.exe
SpSaner-Windows-noui-6.0.exe
spdialogbox20.exe
spdialogbox.exe
spagentwatchdog.exe
spupgradecontroller.exe
spscanmanager.exe
spsaneruninstall.exe
spsanerrun.exe
spsaneragnt.exe
spldapmanager.exe
spfirmware32.exe
spfirmware64.exe
spnmapresultmanager.exe

Linux:

Service location: /usr/bin/spsaner.service, /usr/bin/spscanmanager, /usr/bin/spagentwatchdog, /usr/bin/spsaner_servicelauncher, /usr/sbin/spsaneragent

Settings location folder : /etc/saner

Update path folder : /var/saner/

Libraries folder : /usr/lib64/saner

Logs Folder: /var/log/saner

Mac OSX:

Service location : /usr/local/bin/spsaneragent, /usr/local/bin/spscanmanager,, /usr/local/bin/spagentwatchdog, /usr/local/bin/spupgradecontroller, /usr/local/bin/spmessagebox, /usr/local/bin/spsaner_deactivate

Settings location folder : /etc/saner

Update path folder : /var/saner/

Libraries folder : /usr/local/lib/saner

Logs Folder: /var/log/saner

Now, we can be able to see the devices started reporting to SanerNow console.
