Overview

In Saner CVEM, administrators can control the agent auto upgrade process at the account level. This feature allows you to either enable automatic upgrades or disable them for specific device groups within the account.

  • Automatic – The agent upgrade will be triggered automatically for all active devices in the selected device group when a new agent version is released.
  • Disable – The agent upgrade will not be triggered for the selected device group even if a new agent version is released.

This configuration gives administrators more flexibility in managing agent versions across their environment.

Steps to Disable Agent Auto Upgrade for a Device Group

  1. Log in to Saner CVEM via any browser using an administrator or organization user login ID.
  2. Click on the Control Panel in the top-right corner.
  3. From the left-hand dropdown, select Account.
  4. Click on Agent Configuration.
  5. Click on Create Settings.
  6. Under Upgrade, select Disable.
  7. Enter the following details:
    • Settings Name
    • Settings Description
    • Select Group (choose the device group where auto upgrade should be disabled)
  8. Click the Create button to save the configuration.
